Light Bulb

I think I understand this enough to post about it now. I've been working my poor old sickly brain to the max on this one. Electoral Reform is hardly my forte, but I'm thankful to have friends who are much, much smarter than I am in this area. Thanks to S and G for sending along emails to help me understand.

Rather than a long post trying to articulate something that is still sorting itself out in my wee brain, I thought I would link to this excellent site
and let you make up your own mind on this important political issue.

Most important of all -- VOTE!!!!!

I'm a voter. Our big State races come in November. Hard choices because in several races, both candidates are goofs.

Hope your cold is better or best yet, gone!

Yay for voters!!

The cold, she is bad. Not improving quickly at all, despite an all-out assault with Vitamins C and D, and all the Dayquil/Nyquil I can take within package instructions.

Ugh.

THis is a hard one. Philosophically I think some form of proportional representation is the best option in a multi-party system. BUt regional representation loses out as ridings get bigger. Of course on a striaght population basis regional representation loses out too.

Balancing all these issues is hard.
