This wish comes a bit late, but is heartfelt.
It's been a rough start to the new year. All uphill from here, no question. On Boxing Day I started feeling a bit "funny" and chalked it up to exhaustion from the season. The next day, The Plague of 2012 hit in full force. (For the record: that is the LAST time I am shaking hands at the door on Christmas Eve.)
Yep. Happy New Year everyone.
Here's to the rest of 2012 - may it be grand!

Oh my - It was the Christmas Curse Flu - went through us 2x. We spread it amongst ourselves familywise before we knew we were contagious!!

WNPP - thankfully, our "lockdown quarantine" method works pretty well. P and I have done this a few times now. When it's especially bad and I know that the same illness would send him to hospital - I just don't see him. Period.
I stay in the back room and warn him when i'm coming to the kitchen to re-load on fluids, food, whatever. If I want to talk to him, I can shout though the door, or call him.
