I'm still around, just uber busy.
Almost every day since Sunday has involved fast-moving weather systems that are wreaking havoc with my brain. Pain level nowhere near a friendly level. Also, it's Thunder Pride week with lots of great events, so that is a good kind of busy!
Add to that a few burial services and Pentecost and a Grant Proposal that is very nearly ready to send on it's way, and there you have it. Life. Busy, but good.
Thankfully, after four tough days, my head appears to like again. All I have left is that leftover echo of hurt that I'll take any day over the real thing.

- Dorothy has influenced me in many ways...perhaps because she was unaware of her own strengths until someone else pointed them out...perhaps because she had dreams and followed them...and helped her friends to follow theirs. I don't know, but a part of me hopes that when I look at Dorothy, I see a glimpse of myself......still following that yellow brick road. I'm a fifty-something woman who is fiercely in love with her partner of 31 years, incredibly proud of our amazing sons (they are 30 and 28), owned by one beautiful cat and grieving another one. I am the pastor of a Little Church on a Corner in Canada. Since Sept 2005 (with a few brief remissions), I have lived with Chronic Migraine/Myofascial pain. I am still working on how to maintain a healthy, balanced life. I am getting better at this! Because this is my blog, not his, I hesitate to say too much about it, but my amazing partner, P, lives with MS, diabetes and trigeminal neuralgia. I only mention that because if I ever need a source of strength and inspiration, he's usually right here in the same room. Life is good. God is good. Always.
